Who We Are

Maple-Crete Inc. was founded in 1994 by Salvatore Forgione, Lorenzo Antonini, and Angelo Spano. After gaining valuable experience in the paving and road-building industry while working for another company, we decided to start our own business. Beginning with a small asphalt patching crew, two dump trucks, a skid steer, and a couple of rollers, our dedication to quality quickly earned us a strong reputation and allowed us to expand our services.

We added a grading crew and a concrete crew to our team, and soon became known for our ability to independently tackle complete road and parking lot constructions. We also began competing in the municipal and government sectors for road reconstruction and repair contracts, which allowed us to take on larger-scale projects and continue to grow.

To accommodate our expanding equipment fleet, we built our own office and shop in 1997 at 220 Basaltic Road in Vaughan, where we are still located today. This move allowed us to better maintain and organize our equipment and provided a permanent location to continue to serve our clients.

At Maple-Crete Inc., we are committed to maintaining our equipment to the highest standards. We service our own fleet of paving, concrete, and excavating equipment, as well as dump trucks, trailers, and service vehicles. Our workforce is trained in load security and updated on CVOR rules and regulation refresher courses annually to ensure that we follow Ministry guidelines for vehicle checks and safety daily.

Today, we are a full-service general contractor that provides a wide range of services to our clients, including concrete work, grading, sewer and water main installation, excavation, emergency repair work, winter maintenance, line painting, and project management services. Our management team is hands-on with every project, from estimating to completion, no matter how big or small. We remain committed to providing high-quality services to our clients and are always looking for new and innovative ways to improve our offerings.
